Conventional Compensation Systems
eVAR-SC type conventional compensation panels are used where the harmonic pollution rate is above the limits and where the load changeover rate is slow. These panels are designed mainly to reduce system costs. These panels are manufactured with reactors as a standard, also, thyristors instead of contactors could be used. In addition, tube capacitors (cylindrical type) with 440V continuous operating voltage are used in these panels too.
